Some notes on the Pitfalls of Collaborative Research: How do we Justify with whom to Collaborate (or not) and Why?

"Informal Conversations" is an event series organized by the Global South Studies Center's "Co-Producing Knowledge" Thematic Area.

The first session features Dr. Mario Krämer  from the University of Cologne. The presentation will, first, provide insights into his current field research with nature and landscape conservationists who resist the planned extension of wind turbines and photovoltaic plants in the low-mountain regions of Western Germany. The second part serves to jointly discuss the obstacles, limits and chances of collaborative research in this and comparable research contexts with the seminar participants.
