Livelihoods and Food Security in the Global South

Food and nutrition security is one of the planet’s most important problems. In recent years, new research approaches and methodologies have been developed that are reshaping this field. In this two-day event, participants will be introduced to these new approaches and methodologies. It is designed for graduate students from fields including Geography, Sociology, Development Studies and Economics.

Bill Pritchard is Professor Human Geography at the University of Sydney, Australia, and International Faculty at the University of Cologne. He is the lead co-author of Feeding India (2014, Earthscan) and lead co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Food and Nutrition Security (2016, Routledge)
