Susana Durão is Professor and Researcher in Anthropology at the State University of Campinas (São Paulo). She was Senior Fellow in MECILA / Maria Sibylla Merian Center Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America program, and Visiting Fellow at the Summer Program of Social Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. She has done most of her immersive fieldwork in Portugal and Brazil.
