Future Rural Africa subproject C01
The project examines how various global and local crises, including geopolitical tensions, climate change, and droughts, for instance, disrupt value chains, and how different actors at both international and local levels respond. It also assesses the impacts of their responses and how this influences broader regional resilience. Its main goal is to develop a typology of crises, investigate the agency of different actors, and understand how this affects the prospects of regional economic resilience.
