Education and professional career
Pedro Pablo Achondo Moya holds a Bachelor of Theology from FAJE (Brazil), as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Master of Theology from the Loyola Faculty (France). He earned his PhD in Territory, Space and Society from the University of Chile. From 2024 to 2025, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile, where he worked on the project “Climatic Pluriverses.”
His research focuses on multispecies relations, affective ecologies, posthumanism, plant thought, environmental philosophy, Latin American theology, and ecotheology. He is also the author of several books on theology.
